Here are a few things we have been up to:
*eating out
- Super large Pancakes (as shown on Man vs. Food-Hawaii .. Ben's B day)
-Yummy Nachos
-Matzumotos (famous shaved ice on North shore --it has vanilla bean ice cream on bottom and smothered in condensed milk--so GOOD)
-Cholo's (our new favorite Mexican food on North Shore)
*Had 2 birthdays (Layla and Ben)
*Took the girls to their first Carnival
-Presley got to ride a horse for the first time and they both got to ride rides.
*Swimming at the beach a lot
*Going to the Zoo (at least once a week)
*Hiking
*Touring the island
*Tried to sneak on the set of the new Pirates of the Caribbean. (We have a few pics of the new Black Pearl ship)
*And mostly just hanging out and enjoying each other.
*Presley and Layla are like my 2 best buds!
*Ben of course has nearly completed 2 dif hospital rotations and will be working a retail rotation 7 on 7 off next round. He is really excited to hang out more!

The Matzumotos that you were talking about sound a lot like something I ate in Taiwan, which would make sense. They were so dang good and I swear that's why I came back 15 pounds heavier! Yikes!
you guys look like you are having a blast! your girls have already changed a lot in just a few months. presley's hair is so long and layla is the cutest little toddler! it's so fun to see what you are up to, thanks for the update! wish we were there :(
The girls are adorable! I can't believe how big they have gotten. Your hair has gotten super, super long. I don't think I've seen you with it so long before - it looks cute. I can't wait to see you in November!

It looks like you have been so busy and having so much fun. Rykin would love that big pancake. Your girls are getting so big, and so stinkin' cute. So fun.
It looks like you guys are having an awesome summer on Oahu! Your girls are getting so grown up... I can't believe how long Presley's hair is, & that picture of Layla in front of the gigantic mountain of nachos was pretty hilarious! We got back into Hilo last Thursday, so hopefully I can get back into blogging again!
